Fleet Washing Services in Arkansas — Mobile Truck, Trailer & Equipment Washing

$2Mgeneral liability — COI and W-9 before we mobilise
On-Sitewe come to your lot — no downtime hauling vehicles
DOT Readyclean fleet = inspection-ready appearance
Since 2010Serving Central AR
The expensive problem is not how it looks. Winter brine sits on the underside, inside wheel arches and behind mud flaps long after the road looks clear, and it corrodes frames and brake hardware in the places nobody inspects. Appearance is the part you can see; the frame is the part that costs money.

Your fleet is your brand on wheels — every truck, van, and trailer that rolls through Central Arkansas represents your company. American Services AR provides mobile fleet washing services that come to your yard or lot, clean your vehicles on-site, and keep your fleet looking professional without pulling vehicles off the road. We serve businesses of all sizes from single-truck contractors to multi-vehicle fleets throughout Conway and Central Arkansas.

Fleet washing is right for you if: You operate trucks, vans, trailers, equipment, buses, or any commercial vehicles and want consistent appearance without the hassle of a car wash that can’t handle large vehicles.

3

Pressure Wash & Hand Detail

Commercial pressure washing of exterior surfaces, with hand towel detailing of mirrors, door handles, fuel caps, and trim.

Mobile On-Site, Not a Drive-Through Truck Wash

Most results you will find for fleet washing in Arkansas are drive-through truck washes — you send a
driver, he queues, he pays per unit, he comes back. That is a different service from this one, and for a fleet
of any size it is usually the more expensive of the two once you count what it actually costs.

The costs that do not appear on a truck-wash invoice are the ones that matter: a driver’s hours, the fuel
to get there and back, the queue, and the unit being out of service while it happens. Ten trucks sent out
individually is most of a working day spent moving vehicles in order to clean them.

We bring the equipment to your yard and wash the units where they are parked. Nothing leaves, no driver is
tied up, and the work can happen outside your operating hours so the fleet is ready when the shift starts. For
a yard with more than three or four units that is normally the whole argument.

We bring our own water. An on-site supply is cheaper and we will
use yours if you have it, but a yard without a usable spigot is not a problem — it is a line on the
quote, shown separately, not a reason we cannot come.

What Is Actually on Your Trucks

A tractor-trailer that runs Arkansas highways carries a layered load of soil, and the reason a cheap wash
leaves a unit looking dull is that only the top layer ever comes off. Each part of it wants a different
treatment:

  • Road film — the bonded grey-brown layer of oil, tyre rubber and exhaust that a
highway lays onto a trailer side. It does not rinse. It needs the correct detergent and real dwell time to
release, and a unit washed without that still looks grey when it dries.
  • Bug strike on the front cap, bumper and mirrors. Through an Arkansas summer this is
heavy, and it is acidic — left to sit it etches clearcoat permanently. It wants soaking, not pressure.
  • Winter brine and de-icer, which is the one that actually costs you money. It sits on the
underside, inside wheel arches and up behind mud flaps long after the road looks clear, and it corrodes frames,
crossmembers and brake hardware in exactly the places nobody inspects. An underside wash through winter is
    maintenance, not appearance.
  • Diesel soot around the stack and the rear of the unit.
  • Brake and wheel dust, which is iron-bearing and will stain aluminium wheels permanently
if it is left through a season.

Hot water matters here. Cold water moves loose dirt; it does not release bonded film or cut diesel and
grease. We run hot-water commercial systems and match the chemistry to the surface — painted panels,
vinyl wrap, polished aluminium and stainless all behave differently, and wrap in particular is easy to ruin
with pressure that a painted panel would shrug off.

Where the Wash Water Goes — and Why It Is Your Problem

This is the part a low-cost mobile washer skips, and it is the part that creates liability for the yard
rather than for the washer.

Washing trucks releases oil, diesel, brine, detergent and metal-bearing solids. If that runs to a storm
inlet it has entered a waterway, and the enforcement letter goes to the property, not to the contractor who
drove away. A fleet yard with a storm drain in the wash area and a contractor who has never mentioned it is a
problem waiting to be discovered.

How we work it: we berm or cover the inlets in the wash area, recover the water, and discharge only to the
point your site approves — typically sanitary sewer under your authority’s rules, or to a holding tank.
Anything that has to leave the site goes out through your approved hauler and appears as its own line on the
quote rather than buried in a lump sum. If you operate under a stormwater permit or an SWPPP, send it with the
request and we will work to your plan instead of guessing at it.

Ask any bidder this one question: “where does the wash water go?” A
contractor who has not thought about it will not have an answer, and that answer is the difference between a
cheap invoice and a notice of violation.

The Interval Is the Value, Not the Individual Wash

A one-off wash on a neglected fleet is the most expensive wash you will ever buy. The soil has bonded, the
brine has already done its work on the frame, and the result is a unit that looks better rather than one that
looks right. A scheduled programme costs less per visit and produces a fleet that is consistently presentable,
which is the thing clients and inspectors actually see.

What the interval depends on, honestly:

  • Miles and route. Highway units film up far faster than local delivery vans.
  • Season. Through the brine months an underside wash matters more than the sides do. In
summer it is bug strike on the front cap.
  • What the unit is for. A truck that parks in front of customers is a different problem
from a yard tractor nobody sees.
  • Surface. Wrapped units need gentler, more frequent attention; neglected wrap fails
visibly and replacing it costs multiples of a year of washing.

Most fleets land on every two weeks or monthly, with the underside added through winter. We would rather
put you on the interval that actually suits the fleet than sell a frequency you do not need — a
programme you cancel in four months is worth less to us than one you keep.

Fleets We Are Set Up For

Box trucks and straight trucks, tractors and trailers, service vans and pickups, dump trucks and roll-offs,
buses and shuttles, refuse and utility bodies, and the yard equipment that sits alongside them. Machines and
mobile plant are degreased under
heavy equipment cleaning,
which is a different method and priced separately because it genuinely costs more to do.

Arkansas freight concentrates in a handful of places and we build routes around them: West
Memphis
, where I-40 and I-55 converge in one of the busiest truck corridors in the country;
Little Rock and North Little Rock at the I-30/I-40 junction; Springdale and
the Northwest Arkansas poultry and distribution corridor; Fort Smith;
Texarkana on I-30; and Conway, where our yard is. A fleet on a standing
interval in any of those gets a materially better number than a one-off call, because the trip is already
being made.

What You Get in Writing

A line-by-line quote with every adder shown separately — water hauling, after-hours, containment,
disposal — rather than a single figure you cannot interrogate. $2M general liability with a COI and W-9
in your hands before we mobilise, naming whoever your contract requires. Crews trained to OSHA 10 and 40-hour
HAZWOPER, DBIDS access for Department of Defense sites, PWNA and UAMCC members, in business since 2010.

If your yard has a site orientation, a permit system or PPE rules, we complete your pre-task plan or JSA
and work to them rather than to our habits. For anything of size we walk the yard before quoting, because a
number produced without seeing the units and the drainage is a guess.

Frequently Asked Questions — Fleet Washing

Do you come to our location or do we bring vehicles to you?
We come to you. Our mobile setup brings all the equipment needed — pressure washer, water supply (or we connect to your on-site water), and cleaning supplies. Vehicles stay at your yard or job site.
How long does fleet washing take?
A standard cargo van takes 20–30 minutes. Semi tractors take 30–45 minutes. A 10-vehicle fleet can typically be completed in a half-day visit. We’ll give you a time estimate when you schedule so you can plan around it.
Can you wash vinyl-wrapped vehicles?
Yes, with care. Vinyl wraps require lower pressure and appropriate soap to avoid lifting edges. Let us know if any vehicles are wrapped when you schedule so we bring the right equipment.
Do you offer contracts for regular fleet washing?
Yes. Monthly and bi-weekly contracts are available with volume pricing for fleets of 5 or more vehicles. Regular scheduling keeps your fleet consistent and removes the need to remember to book each time.
Can you handle heavy equipment like excavators and skid steers?
Yes. Excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers and farm machinery are handled by our heavy equipment cleaning service, with hot water and degreaser on site. Machines are priced per machine by class or by the crew-hour on our heavy equipment cleaning page.
What areas do you serve for fleet washing?
We serve all of Central Arkansas including Conway, Little Rock, North Little Rock, Maumelle, Jacksonville, Benton, Bryant, Cabot, Sherwood, and surrounding areas. Contact us for locations outside Central Arkansas — we may be able to accommodate larger contracts.
